Here is what our students and parents are saying
"When I started my journey towards ultimately gaining my Black Belt, I had no idea what to expect from the academy, its instructors, or the family of students all working together towards common goals. After earning my Camoflage belt with my daughter Jessica I truly felt that I was a part of something much bigger than myself. Training and learning something new every time I attend class is a big part in keeping me motivated and looking forward to some hard work.
I really enjoy the great family atmosphere that exists with the instructors and many of the students, I appreciate the efforts that the instructors go to foster this feeling. My main goals for taekwondo were fitness but I have found that many of the other goals that we work on in class are equally important and are promoting values that I believe are critical in developing people that will enhance our community. I am proud to be a member of the Seung-ri WTTU Black Belt Academy and am fortunate to be able to share this with my daughter and the many good friends I have met while working towards my Black Belt."

"Gabriel is enthusiastic about everything he does. Whether it's swimming, soccer, golf or school Gabe approaches everything he does with an unmatched zest and Taekwondo is no exception. Since joining the Seung-ri WTTU Black Belt Academy Gabe has enjoyed every class. His focus and determination enabled him to become an Orange belt on his 6th birthday, with many thanks to Gabe's dedicated instructors. Gabe is excited about the opportunity of becoming a Black Belt by the age of 8. Gabe would also like to thank everyone who has supported him thus far."

"Karlee started 7 months ago as a shy quiet person. Recently she was promoted to camouflage belt and is proud to be one of the most senior students in class. Her confidence in sports and school has changed dramatically. Karlee now speaks up and is prepared to try new things instead of sitting by quietly being shy. Her teacher at school has commented on her focus in class which has improved and now rather than watch other kids she is confident enough to get involved. She is learning now that she can do anything if she tries and is learning to set goals. Karlee's goal in taekwondo is to get her black belt and lots of trophies from participating in tournaments."

"My name is Kiernan Bailey, I started Tae kwon do as a Tiny Tiger almost three years ago. Back then I would come with my Dad to family class, but I didn't have as much focus as I do now. Now I am the senior student and I just got my purple belt. All the other kids listen to me especially when I do the Tiny Tigers oath at the bow in/bow out.
I didn't think I could lead a class it changed my life by teaching me about respect and how to spar. It made me a better person by helping me understand how to defend myself and that you should never bully someone even if they bully you. My big goal is to get my black belt my short term goal is to get my red belt. I was very proud at the last testing because I got a pin for being so precise in my kicks. I am very proud to be named student of the month."

"The changes that Songahm Taekwondo has evoked in my life are reflected in all of the many facets of my life. I have become a dedicated student as the discipline of martial arts teaches. I have more patience with myself and others in school. Through struggle I practice perseverance and I continue to see positive results of the hard work and patience. I have only just begun this journey and already I have honor in putting on my uniform and practicing along White, Color and Black Belt students. I get so much joy from seeing other students accomplishing goals and acquiring new skills. I feel that this is due to the quality of instruction and the loyalty of the students. Courtesy is taught in the taekwondo classroom and this is translated into respect for others that I meet in the community. I approach new situations with greater confidence and a personal mindset of knowing that I will be able to achieve my goals and overcome obstacles. The lessons of self control and awareness have prepared me to face many challenges in my everyday life with patience and integrity, to always make sound decisions, even if they require more work. I am a better friend, listener, student and teacher through the lessons of Taekwondo."
