Wow, I Finally Made It.
ven through illness, injury, and personal difficulties I made it. I have reached another important milestone in my martial arts life and I am now one step closer to achieving my goal of Mastership.
I cannot imagine where my life would be without Tae Kwon Do, in fact it has been my life. Ever since I was a little kid 8 years ago Tae Kwon Do has been influencing my life and changing it for the better. Songahm Tae Kwon Do goes beyond the movies; it teaches you life skills like respect, courtesy, and perseverance - to never give up no matter how hard it is or how impossible it seems, and without those skills I never would have made it this far.
Tae Kwon Do also teaches leadership skills, how to lead and be a proper role model and influence people’s lives for the better. Just like the Davidsons helped me and changed my life, I wish to do the same - as an instructor.
Of course I couldn’t have done this without help. I’d like to thank my Dad for always helping me with my material, getting me to work hard, and bringing me to class. I’d also like to thank Mister Davidson and Mister Davidson Jr for being great mentors and for their superior knowledge of Songahm Tae Kwon Do, as well as the transit system for having a fast and effective transportation system that takes me directly from my house to the do-jang. I would also like to thank my fellow students for being there and supporting me - for example, Mister Steel and Mister Espey for their awesomeness and being there when I needed them the most. Also I would like to thank Master Goins for failing me on my first test for Second Degree and being an awesome role model in the martial arts and in life as well. I would finally like to thank my sister and my mom for their love and support. This has been an awesome journey and I am so glad I can share it with every one of you.
Thank you.
